Three-Dimensional Simulation Garden Landscape Design Method Based on Virtual Simulation Technology

Abstract: In order to further promote the design and development of 3D simulated garden landscape, the author proposes a method of 3D simulated garden landscape design based on virtual simulation technology. By combining virtual simulation technology and traditional 3D simulation garden landscape design method, a 3D garden landscape simulation system is constructed, thereby realizing the improvement of 3D simulation garden landscape design method and further promoting the development of 3D simulation garden landscape de… Show more

“…Virtual universes have attracted the attention of architects, landscape designers, and urban environment designers from the outset as a unique modeling and design tool [18,19]. There are numerous successful projects to transfer copies of real objects and even entire settlements into virtual space [20][21][22]. However, the use of Second Life or Metaverse, as well as specialized virtual spaces for urban planning, is still in its early stages of development [13,23].…”

“…This approach facilitates the optimization of landscape designs by allowing for iterative testing and refinement of different design alternatives. Designers can experiment with factors such as land use patterns, vegetation types, and infrastructure layouts to identify the most efficient and effective solutions [12]. Moreover, VR technology enhances communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders, enabling more informed decision-making and consensus-building throughout the planning process.…”

“…However, the zeitgeist has led the pace of technology development and research programs have been developed by Chinese government departments and researchers of related technologies. Many regions in China are building digital city areas belonging to the region, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Beijing Aviation University in various regions [16][17][18][19][20]. Innovative applications of relevant VR products have been carried out in the construction of virtual roaming.…”

“…Innovative applications of relevant VR products have been carried out in the construction of virtual roaming. In October 2017, virtual technologies in China were announced with the support of research institutions of relevant companies and government agencies [20][21][22][23][24][25]. The Ministry of Education also actively organizes and calls for everyone to participate in the development of virtual technologies in education, for example, the development of systems for virtual campuses.…”
