Three new amides from Streptomyces sp. H7372

Cicloheximida (6) Three new amides, methyl phenatate A (1), actiphenamide (2) and actiphenol 1-b-Dglucopyranoside (3), along with thirteen known compounds, were isolated … Show more

“…The filamentous fungus Alternaria alternata, which produce various toxins and c disease in various plants such as Japanese pear, strawberry, and mandarin produced toxin, AF-toxin, and ACT-toxin, respectively, and contained (R,2E,4Z,6E)-8-hydro ((R)-2-methyloxiran-2-yl)-octa-2,4,6-trienoic acid (128) and (R,2E,4E,6E)-8-hydroxy-8 2-methyloxiran-2-yl)-octa-2,4,6-trienoic acid (129) [146][147][148]. Methyl phenatate A wit (130) was detected in the organic extract of a fermentation culture of Streptomyce H7372 [149].…”

“…Five methyl singlets at δ H 1.04, 1.17, 1.36, 1.40, and 1.61 in the 1 H NMR spectrum of 1 suggested the terpene nature of 1. The analysis of the 1 H, 13 C NMR, DEPT, and HSQC spectra of 1 revealed, in addition to five methyls, five methylene and one methine group as well as eight nonprotonated carbon atoms, including four oxygenated ones (δ C 101.1, 174.8, 208.1, 214.3) (Table 1).…”
