Thrombolysis, the only Optimally Rapid Reperfusion Treatment

Abstract: Thrombolysis with tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) has been plagued by inadequate effi cacy and a high risk of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), which led to its replacement by procedures like percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) whenever possible.
