Tidal and wind turbine simulation with the simulation code DOROTHY

Abstract: In the context of diversification toward renewable energies, wind and tidal turbines are set to play an important role. To this end, the simulation code DOROTHY uses the Vortex Particle Method, which offers a good compromise between physical realism and computational times.
