In order to test the efficiency of colleges and universities to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education and cultivate the innovative talent system required by economic and social development and change, this paper proposes to combine the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on the analytic hierarchy process. First, gather the students’ ideas, then create a set of measures for each measure, count the weight and significance of each measure, and create a set of criteria for the assessment of the educational process of innovation and entrepreneurship. Census of colleges and universities’ innovation and business measurement model based on student perceptions and determining the weight of each measurement scale will help students understand what is more important in evaluating college and universities’ innovation and business education. Other metrics include innovation and training market, it needs approach, design industry analysis examines business, opportunities for school-to-business engagement, innovation, business education, training, entrepreneurship, and platform information. Therefore, in order to improve the innovation and business education of colleges and universities, it is necessary to carefully establish school management, faculty, classes, activities, innovation, business platform, business education environment, support, advocacy mechanism, and so on. We will improve the teaching of innovation and entrepreneurship and focus on training faculty of innovation and business education and focus on strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship information platform, innovation, and entrepreneurship incubation base.

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, medical education migrated to digital environments, without clear guidelines for virtual courses or evaluations of how these courses have been developed. Objective: To adapt and validate a scale to evaluate the quality of virtual courses developed for human medicine students in Peru. Methods: Cross-sectional study that adapted a scale to assess the quality of virtual courses to the context of Peruvian medical students during the COVID-19 pandemic, using the Delphi methodology and pilot tests for a rigorous evaluation of the items, resulting in a scale of 30 items that were described with summary statistics. In addition to the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) with Oblimin rotation, together with the adequacy and sample fit with Bartlett test and Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO), while the internal consistency was estimated with the alpha coefficient. Results: A total of 297 medical students in Peru were surveyed. The descriptive statistics for the items showed a normal distribution, while the Bartlett test showed no inadequacy (X2=6134.34, p<0.01) and with the KMO test an overall value greater than 0.92 was found, therefore an AFE was performed where five factors were identified (General Quality and Didactic Methodology, Design and Navigation of the Virtual Platform, Multimedia Resources, Academic Materials) with 30 items. In the internal consistency, an alpha coefficient greater than 0.85 was estimated for the factors evaluated. Conclusions: The adapted scale of 30 items grouped into five factors or domains, show adequate evidence of validity and reliability to be used in the evaluation of the quality of virtual courses developed for Peruvian human medicine students during the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. What are the solutions for well-being and burn-out for healthcare professionals? An umbrella realist review of learnings of individual-focused interventions for critical care

ObjectiveTo determine what, how, for whom and under what conditions individual-focused interventions are effective to improve well-being and decrease burn-out among critical care healthcare professionals.DesignThis study is an umbrella review that used the realist approach, using Realist and Meta-narrative Evidence Synthesis: Evolving Standards guidelines. PsycINFO, Web of Science, CINAHL, MEDLINE, Scopus, ClinicalTrials.gov and ISRCTN databases were searched for published and unpublished systematic reviews and meta-analyses literature between 2016 and 2020. The team appraised and extracted data and identified relationships between content, mechanism and outcomes (CMOs). Theory prepositions were developed using CMOs and were used to refine the existing programme.ResultsA total of 81 interventions from 17 reviews were mapped, including mindfulness interventions, cognitive–behavioural therapy, self-care and coping strategies. The revised programme theory determined that contextual factors such as ethnicity, workload, and work schedules play a crucial role in determining the effectiveness of interventions. Mechanisms including the interventions’ interests, acceptance, and receptivity are also influential in determining engagement and adherence to the intervention. Findings suggest that the solution for burn-out is complex. However, it offers an optimistic view of tailoring and customising one or a combination of interventions, integrating structured education and components of emotional intelligence. Self-care, social support, awareness or mindfulness and self-efficacy are prime components to improve emotional intelligence and resilience for critical care healthcare professionals to improve well-being and decrease burn-out experience.ConclusionsThese findings provide realistic and reliable reporting of outcomes to better support implementation within the ‘real world’. Future research such as seeking validation using expert opinions can provide further in depth understanding of hidden contextual factors, mechanisms and their interactions to provide a greater depth of knowledge ready for application with the critical care population.
