Abstract:Hybrid breeding is an effective approach to generate better varieties and prevent variety degradation. The present study investigated the metabolic changes underlying growth superiority in the novel Gymnocypris hybrid (GH), Gymnocypris przewalskii ♀ (GP) × G. eckloni ♂ (GE).
