Abstract:Torus palatinus is an exostosis of the hard palate located along the median palatine suture. With slow growth and usually asymptomatic, torus is usually diagnosed by accident. Surgical treatment is necessary when it presents an obstacle for prosthetic stabilization. This article presents clinical and therapeutical aspects of torus palatinus.
