Total thyroidectomy may be more reasonable as initial surgery in unilateral multifocal papillary thyroid microcarcinoma: a single-center experience

Abstract: BackgroundThe extent of surgery in patients with unilateral multifocal papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (UMPTMC) remains to be controversial.
