Abstract: Post‐translational protein modification provides real‐time modulation of protein form and function. Poly(ADP‐ribosyl)ation is a post‐translational modification (PTM) that has been implicated in processes as diverse as chromatin remodeling, the DNA damage response, and mammalian cell death.
