Nowadays, providing housing for the low-income groups of society is a concern for governments, especially in developing nations. An attempt has been made to recognize the most significant real criteria for reducing housing project costs and providing affordable housing for them by studying previous research and analyzing the collected information. First, the resources compiled in the field of affordable housing were reviewed, and data were gathered. Next, qualitative and quantitative questionnaires were provided, and the experts’ answers were analyzed in three steps (Delphi technique, AHP techniques, and case studies). By analyzing the findings, it was concluded that the current approaches in housing planning need to be revised to achieve the government’s goals and policies. Therefore, the physical indicators and patterns of vernacular and traditional houses in different climatic regions should be known and changed in the next step according to the needs of the modern world. The adaptation of today’s architecture from the vernacular architectural features of the past is one of the important things that should be considered. In this research, the consideration of housing preparation for low-income groups and reducing housing project costs, by identifying the most important effective criteria mentioned in other previous studies, is the novel contribution of this research.

Consumption plays an important role in economic growth and sustainable economic development. The Chinese government emphasizes the theme of promoting high-quality development. This aim has led to the implementation of strategies to expand domestic demand through a deep structural reform in the supply chain, enhance the endogenous power and reliability of the large domestic cycle, improve the quality and level of the international cycle, and accelerate the construction of a modern economic system. Based on the clarification of the consumption effect of housing support expenditure, this paper uses a combination of theoretical and empirical analysis to clarify the relationship between housing support expenditure and urban residents’ consumption. This is carried out to seek a breakthrough point for raising the total level of urban residents’ consumption expenditure in China from the level of housing support. This study revealed that government housing support has a certain degree of influence on the total level of urban residents’ consumption expenditure and that the government’s support of housing support is conducive to improving the total level of urban residents’ consumption expenditure. Also, if the housing price is not controlled and adjusted, the effect of government housing support on urban residents’ consumption expenditure will be greatly reduced, which will affect the lives of urban residents in the long run. Finally, suggestions and countermeasures for improving the overall level of urban residents’ consumption and the sustainable development of the social economy in China are provided.

This study investigates the impact of sustainable interior design on family well-being in multifamily housing, focusing on its contribution to environmental sustainability and improving quality of life. Its main objective is to synthesize recent research on how ecological approaches in interior design promote energy efficiency and use sustainable materials to optimize living spaces. Using the PRISMA methodology for the systematic review, studies were analyzed that highlight practices such as the integration of renewable energies and the use of local materials, which benefit the economy and the environment. The results reveal that such practices not only reduce costs and promote local employment, but also enhance occupational well-being. The conclusions emphasize the need to reconfigure residential design to face contemporary challenges and enhance sustainability. This study proposes new directions for future research on sustainable design, highlighting its impact on quality of life and its strategic importance for global sustainability.
