Türkiye’de 06 Şubat 2023 tarihinde meydana gelen Kahramanmaraş merkezli deprem, etkili olduğu bölgelerde eğitim sistemini uzun süre aksatmıştır. Depremin ardından, bölgede eğitim amaçlı birçok prefabrik yapı kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, deprem sonrasında kurulan prefabrik eğitim yapılarının sürdürülebilirliğini sağlamaya yönelik öneriler sunmaktır. Güncel sürdürülebilirlik sertifikasyon sistemlerinin değerlendirme kritlerleri ortaya konmuş ve Diyarbakır Bağlar Anadolu Lisesi örneği üzerinden prefabrik yapıların sürdürülebilirlik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda binanın malzeme ve kaynak ve iç mekan ortam kalitesi kriterleri açısından ön plana çıktığı ancak özellikle enerji ve yenilik kriterleri açısından oldukça düşük bir değerlendirme puanına sahip olduğu söylenebilir. Bu gibi veriler doğrultusunda hem Diyarbakır Bağlar Anadolu lisesi özelinde hem de afet sonrası inşa edilen ve inşa edilecek prefabrik eğitim binalarına yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.
