“…The main result of the article is the presented development of an extensive range of cryogenic astronomical equipment for different observatories. Based on these developments of both optical (photonic) and radio-astronomical (electronic) equipment, a new project by the authors of the article is being built to develop receiving equipment in the intermediate terahertz range for new telescopes that are expected to be built in northeastern Eurasia (the Caucasus and Siberia in Russia [71], Uzbekistan [72], and China [73]), or, for example, within the framework of the EHT project expansion program [74]. These observatories will be certainly equipped with cryogenic receivers based on the experience described in the article, and there is a close collaboration with international teams involved in the development of the above-listed observatories.…”

“…The well-developed, closed, thermostable high modulus carbon fiber reinforced polymer truss structure preserves its shape, while all its dimensions increase proportionally. Mechanical and thermal modeling performed inEIE Group has shown the possibility of such a scaling for the antenna diameter up to 20-21 m [6].The expected accuracy of the surface of the main mirror is not worse than 25 µm (RMS) for a diameter of 21 m and 15 µm (RMS) for a diameter of 15 m. The upper frequency band for such a telescope inthe best Tibet atmospheric conditionsis 1.5 THz (Ali2), 0.95 THz(Ali1), 0.85 THz (Yangbajing). Expected PWV and transmission for Yangbajing site in comparison with Atacama desertsites, Mauna Kea and Summit Campgiven in the Table 2 for 0.86 THz and 1.5 THz were taken from [7].…”

“…Within the framework of this project, it is planned to build three structurally identical multibeam Millimeter / Submillimeter (MM / SUBMM) telescopes in Uzbekistan (above 2400 m), in the Russian Federation (above 3000 m) and in Tibet, China (above 5000 m). 1,2 The low values of the precipitable water vapor correspond to favorable astroclimatic conditions for Millimeter / Submillimeter observations. In particular, specific absorption is weak when values of precipitable water vapor is low.…”
