Towing PIV and its application on the juncture forms of stern appendage with main-body

Abstract

A towing PIV system in large towing tank at China Ship Scientific Research Center (CSSRC) is presented, also its application in the investigation on the effect on flow structure ofjuncture forms of stern appendage with submarine-like main-body. The coefficients of non-uniformity of the nominal wake for five juncture forms are assessed and compared.
