Traffic-aware Radio Resource Allocation for UE-Relay Enhanced Wireless Cellular Network

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a novel downlink radio resource management scheme for a User Equipment (UE)-Relay enhanced downlink heterogeneous network. An optimal region and frequency division scheme with Fraction Frequency Reuse (FFR) is proposed to cancel the interference between the eNodeB (eNB)-Relay Station (RS) link and the RS-UE link.
