Abstract: Tranexamic acid and trauma TO THE EDITOR: Gruen and colleagues 1 have not accurately represented the current safety data on the risk of vascular occlusive events (VOE) with tranexamic acid (TxA), including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
