Transaction Routing in Real-Time Shared Disks Clusters

Abstract: Abstract. This paper proposes a real-time transaction routing algorithm, which allocates real-time transactions to a node in a shared disks cluster. Unlike traditional routing algorithms, which consider load balancing and transaction affinity only, our algorithm also considers transaction priorities inherent to real-time applications.
