Abstract:Chondromyxoid fibromas (CMFs) are rare, benign cartilaginous bone tumors that are most often found in metaphysis of long bones. This report presents an unusual case of CMF at the lateral skull base that is managed via transcanal endoscopic-assisted techniques. Its feasibility in the resection of lateral skull base tumors, as well as the diagnostic difficulties of CMFs are discussed.
