Abstract:The increasing prevalence of harmful algal blooms (HABs) driven by eutrophication, particularly in China’s nearshore waters, is a growing concern. Dinoflagellate Heterocapsa bohaiensis blooms have caused significant ecological and economic damage, as well as mass mortality, in cultivated species.
