“…Additionally, Liu et al (2017) determined the positive influence of inclusive leadership positively concerning mental models of teams where the reflection of teams plays the role of a moderator. “…Neurological variables can provide more comprehensive information about "what leaders do and why" (Waldman et al, 2011). Neuroleadership can be seen as an applied field of social cognitive neuroscience that aims to analyse and understand the behaviour of leaders (Badenhorst, 2015;Liu et al, 2015).…”

“…From a neurological perspective, transformational and charismatic leaders were shown to display similar activation of brain regions when they expressed positive emotions (Liu et al ., 2015). Strong activity was found in the left prefrontal cortex of transformational leaders with high psychological capital (indicative of happiness, contentment, enthusiasm and interest) (Peterson et al ., 2008) as opposed to activity in the right frontal cortex of individuals with low psychological capital.…”

“…Although the term “embody” has been used to represent constructs in behavioral management previously, like “supervisor's organizational embodiment” (see Stinglhamber et al ., 2021), it has not been applied in the word's true sense involving the body or parts of the body. Moreover, as ON continues to grow as a research area in management, opportunities exist to study general brain activity associated with transformational leadership's effectiveness (Liu et al ., 2015). Leadership is a complex behavioral process that involves the emotions of the leader, follower behaviors and the operating context, all of which influence the leader's brain and bodily responses.…”
