Abstract:Analysis of an electrically conducting two-dimensional Maxwell fluid flowing through an inclined stretching sheet is considered in this work. Incorporating the viscous dissipation and Ohmic heating effects on the time-dependent optically dense fluid, and using the required similarity transformation variables, the equations governing the flow are deduced and converted into a coupled system of ordinary differential equations. Runge-Kutta fourth order scheme with shooting technique is applied to solve the derived… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
