Abstract:Introduction: Several case reports exist suggesting a possible new transient renal tubular acidosis arising in pregnancy as well as a tendency toward rhabdomyolysis in these patients.Case Report: The case presents a patient with new onset/possibly transient hypokalemia in pregnancy present with symptomatic rhabdomyolysis. The patient was treated with aggressive potassium repletion during pregnancy and weaned off all therapy postpartum.
