Abstract:Regular ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt is commonly used as the first option to manage a third ventricular arachnoid cyst due to the lack of facilities, unfamiliarity with endoscopic techniques, or misdiagnosis as purely obstructive hydrocephalus.
