Trends in school education development in the EU countries, US and China

Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the problem of transformations in education in the EU countries, USA and China. The authors substantiate the essence of a trend as a scientific category of comparative education studies, and as a phenomenon that characterizes the development of modern education; the strategic landmarks of international organizations for the development of education in the context of globalization and Europeanization are revealed; trends in the development of school education in foreign countries (Germany, the Republic of Poland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, USA, PRC) in the context of the reform of the secondary education in Ukraine are substantiated.
