Trimetazidine, a Metabolic Modulator, Has Cardiac and Extracardiac Benefits in Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Abstract: Background-The anti-ischemic agent trimetazidine improves ejection fraction in heart failure that is hypothetically linked to inhibitory effects on cardiac free fatty acid (FFA) oxidation.
