Trip-based Modal Shift Behaviour of Mode Users along the Proposed Extension Metro Corridor in Chennai (India)

Abstract: Object of this study is to predict the ‘Probability of Shift’ to the proposed metro corridor from two-wheeler, car, bus and suburban rail in Chennai. To achieve this, a Stated Preference survey questionnaire was prepared and survey was conducted among two-wheeler users; car users; bus users and suburban rail users through face-to-face interview method.
