Abstract:For grating-based x-ray phase contrast imaging (GPCI), a multi-order moment analysis (MMA) has been recently developed to obtain multiple contrasts from the ultra-small-angle x-ray scattering distribution, as a novel information retrieval approach that is totally different from the conventional Fourier components analysis (FCA). In this paper, we present an analytic form of MMA in theory that can retrieve multiple contrasts directly from raw phase-stepping images, with no scattering distribution involved. For … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
