Trust data collections via vehicles joint with unmanned aerial vehicles in the smart Internet of Things

Abstract: Due to their mobile character, ground vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are currently being considered as sensing devices that can collect data in the Internet of Things (IoT). Building and enhancing trust and security environments in data collection processes are fundamental and essential requirements. Here, we proposed a novel scheme named “Trust Data Collections via Vehicles joint with UAVs in the Smart Internet of Things” (T‐SIoTs scheme), which targets to establish a trust‐based environment for… Show more

“…Therefore, most researches revolved around WBSN merely concentrated on the reduction of the energy consumed in addition to extending the lifespan of batteries of biosensors devices. 10 The authors in previous studies [11][12][13][14] have proposed different data collection approaches for various applications. These approaches have reduced the collected data, saved the energy, and improved the network lifetime.…”

“…However, an important issue is the security of data collection [36][37][38][39]. Because of the network openness, many IoT devices can be added to the network autonomously [40,41]. Thus, the malicious IoT devices will maliciously prevent the normal data collection.…”
