Abstract

The variety of tumors, pseudotumors and inflammatory processes of the eye lids can be differentiated in begnin and malignant lesions. The classification of the eye lid tumors on the topomorphological features is more detailed. There are thirteen different groups of tumors: I. Epidermal Tms; II. Epidermal praecancerous and malignant tumors; III. Tumors of the sebaceous glands; IV. Tumors of the sweat glands; V. Tumors of the hair folloicles; VI. Melanocytic tumors; VII. Neuronale tumors; VIII. Vascular tumors; IX. Lymphoid, plasmocytic and metastatic tumors; X. Histiocytic, myxoid and fibrous tumors; XI. Cystic lesions; XII. Inflammatory lesions; XIII. Various tumors. We will show characteristical examples of each group. We are giving recommends for the diagnostic, therapy, prognosis and for the follow-up.
