“…The inflammatory response gene TNF (rs1800629) has been reported to modify the relationship between ozone and asthma (Yang et al 2008) and indoor home dampness and asthma (Tsai et al 2011); however, similar to our results, no effect modification was noted in the association between traffic-related NO 2 and adult-onset asthma (Castro-Giner et al 2009). …”

“…Exposure to other allergens such as mites is also associated with childhood asthma and can modify the risk of childhood asthma associated with TRAP [48]. Other environmental exposures such as prenatal smoke exposure, home dampness, and prenatal acetaminophen use can modify the association of genetic risk factors with childhood asthma onset [4951].…”

“…2 Molds in the wall can release spores into the air, 6 and strong associations (odds ratio, OR > 1) have been found between indoor visible molds or mold odor and children asthma, wheeze, and rhinitis in China. [7][8][9][10][11][12] Conventional bacteria and fungi sampling approach is field sampling and offline laboratory analysis. 13 The sampling method includes impaction, impingement, filtration, electrostatic precipitation, gravity sampling, and cyclone; enumeration method includes cultivation and non-cultivation.…”
