“…The surface phases of the Ru–Mo–oxides have been further probed by Raman, which is more surface sensitive than XRD . In situ Raman measurements (Figure c) show that the signals from the MoO 3 phase in 1.9 wt % Ru–Mo–O x decrease largely in their intensity upon exposure to the reaction gas at 250 °C, which is due to hydrogen intercalation and high carrier density in the formed H x MoO 3 phase . Above 300 °C Raman peaks at 197, 221, 340, 485, 557, and 717 cm –1 become the main signals, which are from the defective MoO 3– x (0 < x < 1) phase with rich oxygen vacancies. , Both Raman and XRD results confirm that the 1.9 wt % Ru–Mo–O x catalyst in reaction gas and at temperatures above 300 °C consists of the MoO 3– x surface phase and MoO 2 bulk phase.…”

“…[25] Raman peaks located at 242, 308, and 353 cm −1 can be ascribed to the F 2g , F 1u , A 1g modes of ZIS, respectively. [26,27] After annealing in air, the ZIS-O sample exhibits an additional peak located at 990 cm −1 compared with ZIS, which can be ascribed to the SO stretch of SO 4 2− . Besides, ZIS-O-S with eliminated excessive surface S v shows a peak located at 990 cm −1 as well, implying that Na 2 S treatment has no effect on SO 4 2− groups.…”

“…1-647) [19] and hexagonal phase of ZnIn 2 S 4 (JCPDS No. 65-2023), [24] respectively. For XRD pattern of ZIS/CS, not only peaks corresponding to CdS but also the ZnIn 2 S 4 could be observed, respectively, suggesting the successful synthesis of heterojunction.…”
