Abstract:For the first time, Niobium-doped titanium dioxide (Nb:TiO 2 , NTO) and cadmium sulfide (CdS) are selected for building self-powered photodetectors for optimizing the performance. The p-or n-type NTO and the band structures of the heterojunctions can be controlled by doping Nb and tuning the sputtering power. A low sputtering power tends to produce pure anatase crystals and a high power induces an additional rutile phase aligned in the ( 200) orientation. NTO films deposited at a sputtering power of 120 W show… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
