Tungsten Oxide Nanostructures for Energy Storage and Field Emission Applications

Abstract: Single crystalline tungsten oxide (WO 3 ) nanorods were synthesized over flexible carbon fabric via simple hydrothermal method and used directly as supercapacitor (SC) electrode. WO 3 nanorods with their peculiar structural features over the fabric exhibited excellent electrochemical performance with a high specific capacitance of 481.34 F/g at scan speed 10 mV s -1 .
