Tuning the elastic nonlinearities in composite nanomaterials

Abstract: The possibility of tuning the nonlinear effective response of composite materials and structures is of great importance for developing new concepts such as soft metamaterials, acoustic diodes, nonlinear waveguides and phononic crystals.
