Abstract:Microfluidic systems are important in a variety of applications such as DNA sequencing, cell separation, environmental monitoring, heat transportation in spacecraft and space station [1–2]. Micromixers are the most important component in microfluidic systems and they can be classified as active and passive micromixers [3]. In micro dimensions, surface forces dominate over body forces requiring special attention for problems involving two-phase flows with free surfaces which are often driven by capillary forces… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
