Two new species of the ant genus Myrmecina (Hymenoptera: Formicidae: Myrmicinae) from Sumatra

Abstract: Two new species of the ant genus Myrmecina Curtis, 1829 are described and illustrated based on the worker and queen castes collected in Sumatra, Indonesia under the names M. andalas sp. nov. and M. nitidiuscula sp. nov. Each species displays unique morphological characteristics.
