Two New Triterpenoids from Lawsonia alba

Abstract: Two new triterpenoids, lawsowaseem and lawsoshamim, have been isolated from Lawsonia inermis and their structures established as 3β -hydroxy-24-p-E-coumaroyloxy-olean-12-en-28-oic acid, and 2-acetoxy-3β -hydroxy-olean-12-en-28-oic acid on the basis of spectral evidences, particularly 2D NMR studies.
