Two Types of Contact Between Lipid Droplets and Mitochondria

Abstract: Lipid droplets (LDs) and mitochondria are essential organelles involved in cellular lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis. Accumulated studies have revealed that the physical contact between these two organelles is important for their functions.
