Abstract:Biochemical indicators of the degree or activity of the fibrotic transformation of the chronically injured liver (parameters of fibrosis) were summarized and their diagnostic usefulness on the basis of the pathobiochemical distortion of hepatic connective tissue metabolism critically evaluated.
