Ultrafast Quantum-memory Effects in Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract: Reversible, 200 fs optical switching of carbon nanotubes is demonstrated by utilizing Coulombic many-body effects, strong exciton binding and quantum memory in Coulombic scattering which together eliminate pure dephasing of coherences.
