Abstract:Pathogenic bacterial infections, even at extremely low concentrations, pose significant threats to human health. However, the challenge persists in achieving high-sensitivity bacterial detection, particularly in complex samples. Herein, we present a novel sandwich-type electrochemical sensor utilizing bacteria-imprinted polymer (BIP) coupled with vancomycinconjugated MnO 2 nanozyme (Van@BSA-MnO 2 ) for the ultrasensitive detection of pathogenic bacteria, exemplified by Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). The BI… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
