Ultrasound elastomicroscopy using water beam indentation: preliminary study

Abstract: Abstract. This study is aimed to develop a novel non-contact ultrasonic indentation system for measuring or imaging quantitative mechanical properties of soft tissues, which are increasingly important for tissue assessment and characterization.
