Ultrasound-Guided Peripheral Nerve Blocks for Hip Surgery: A Concise Perspective

Abstract: Ultrasound implementation for the facilitation of peripheral nerve blocks is well established. Ultrasound-guided lumbar plexus, femoral, fascia iliaca and supra-inguinal fascia iliaca compartment, pericapsular nerve group and quadratus lumborum nerve blocks have been employed for analgesia purposes in hip surgery.
