Abstract: In this work, we explored the potential of thiol-capped CdZnTe quantum dots (QDs) as an exceptional signal tag for fluorescence aptasensing applications. Employing a one-pot hydrothermal approach, we modulated the terminal functional groups of CdZnTe QDs using l-cysteine (Lcys), 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA), and N-acetyl-l-cysteine (NAC) as ligands.
