Background: Well motivated and involved workforce feels that organization value them and they are playing an essential role within their organization which significantly enhance both employees' as well as organizational performance. Aim: present study aimed to explore the relationship between motivation and job involvement among staff nurses. Design: A descriptive correlational study design was used. Setting: This study was carried out on 100 staff nurses working at Al Helal Hospital.Sample Type: The convenient sample included staff nurses a permanent contract, who have more than one year experience, and working full time. Tools of data collection: Motivational needs questionnaire sheet and job involvement scale. Results: 96% of staff nurses were highly needed for achievement. While 87% of staff nurses had high level of total motivational need. Also, 58% of staff nurses were highly involved in their work. There was statistically significant relation between staff nurses need for power and their age and years of experience. There was a statistical significant relation between total motivational needs and staff nurses' age, work unit, years of experience and qualification. There was statistically significant relation between total job involvement level and staff nurses' age, qualification, and years of experience. conclusion, there was a positive correlation between total motivational needs and total job involvement. Recommendations: Hospitals must establish policies for meet staff nurses' need for power, conducting periodic meeting and discussion between health care team members and manager must assigning employees specific or specialized tasks to enabling them to become expert.

Background: The individual characteristics of nursing undergraduates play an important role in their clinical development and identifying the facilitator's characteristics can help to increase the effectiveness of educational programs in order to achieve the appropriate clinical practice (performance). Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of explaining the facilitating individual characteristics of clinical development in nursing undergraduates. Methodology and Participants: This qualitative study was conducted by using a conventional content analysis approach. In order to achieve a wide range of experiences, views and maximal variance in data, 17 senior nursing undergraduates, 6 nursing clinical instructors and 4 working nurses in medical centers were included in study based on the purposive sampling method. Data were collected by using semi-structured interviews. After recording and transcribing the interviews, content analysis was used to extract the concepts. Findings: According to the participants' experiences, the facilitating individual characteristics of the clinical development included "respectful behavior", "individual dynamics", "initiative", "self-esteem" and "appropriate nursing mentality". Conclusion: The present study Identified students' characteristics which play a pivotal role in achieving clinical development. In order to achieve clinical development in nursing undergraduates, instructors and educational authorities should identify the students' impressive characteristics and applying the right strategies in order to develop and strengthen these qualities.

AbstrakKode etik dan caring harus diketahui oleh mahasiswa keperawatan karena kedua hal tersebut merupakan dasar dari profesi keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan tentang kode etik keperawatan dan caring pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional pada 226 mahasiswa keperawatan melalui teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa keperawatan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik (92%) mengenai kode etik secara umum dan cukup (47,3%) mengenai caring. Institusi pendidikan keperawatan diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi dan memotivasi mahasiswa untuk mempraktikkan pengetahuan kode etik dan caring yang telah diberikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
