Understanding hydrophobicity variations in dense medium ferrosilicon from different production routes

Abstract: Dense medium ferrosilicon (FeSi) powders produced via submerged arc furnace smelting, granulation, and milling route show varying hydrophobicity, sometimes totally nonwetting, amounting to production losses.
