The aim of our research is to analyze how different religions influence business ethics.We develop an index of practices in the field of business ethics, made up of 19 items containing practices related to workers, consumers, products, human rights, management of ethical conflicts, and crime prevention. Also, we consider a wide range of religion affiliations. To undertake this research, we use a panel data sample composed of 11,956 firm-year observations from 18 countries. Drawing on stakeholder theory, we posit some hypotheses based on the religions considered. The results obtained show that a higher percentage of religious adherents in the country where a company does business usually involve the implementation of more ethical practices in the corporate field. These findings are obtained for Christian, Islamic, Jewish, and Hindu religions. In contrast, this does not stand for Buddhist and folk religions. Also, countries where there is no predominant religion do not show a confluence between religion and ethical corporate practices.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the boarding school leadership in improving the quality of human resources as a whole. The contribution of human resources is very important in the progress of this boarding school. The method used is through a phenomenological approach, in which the researcher is directly involved in the struggle of society and the students directly. Researchers observe and analyze and interview the parties who are directly related. The success of building a nation, starting from the development of human resources, HCL (Human Capital Index) plays a very important role in the development of civilization towards SGDs. The HCL component, which includes education, health and social security, has been implemented in the Idrisyah Islamic boarding school, as a Tarekat. The application of the HCL principles greatly impacts on sustainable human development. Tarekat in Indonesia that apply it because they still apply spirituality of worship vertically, the majority do not have an impact on socio-culture, economy, development and others and as a result unemployment, poverty is not significantly reduced. This tarekat is a new trend in socio-societal change and as a Sufistic movement in Indonesia.

The purpose of this study is to identify work value scales among teachers in Arab high schools in Israel. The study was conducted among Arab high school teachers in Israel, who are part of an indigenous ethnic and cultural minority in a Western-oriented, Jewish majority country, and work in a school system that is based on western educational and ethical paradigms. The work values of Arab high school teachers were measured using the Islamic Work Ethic (IWE), and modified for the current study for use in educational settings. Eight significant dimensions emerged: cooperation, consultation and fortitude, perfectionism and self-discipline, competence, integrity and fairmindedness, personal responsibility and forgiveness, industriousness, trustworthiness, the fulfillment of commitments and competitiveness. The eight dimensions together explained 48% of the total variance and were found to be reliable measures for understanding the work-related values of Arab high school teachers. The study findings indicate that Arab high school teachers in Israel exhibit Islamic work values despite working in a western-oriented educational system.
