Understanding the pulse propagation dynamics in gas-filled hollow-core optical waveguides

Abstract

I would like to express my great gratitude to my supervisor Prof Chang Wonkeun.When I just started my PhD four years ago, I had no background in nonlinear fiber optics. Prof Chang guides me patiently in my research, from some basic theories to simulation techniques and even paper writing skills. Whenever I encounter problem, he always provides me with valuable suggestions and shares with me his research experiences. With the guidance of Prof Chang, I have gained in-depth knowledge in my research field as well as proficient programming skills for numerical simulations, which is my major focus during my PhD study. He has also given me all the freedom to pursue my research and fully support me.
