“…Pars plana vitrectomy 1 (25-G) with peeling of preretinal fibrosis and internal limiting membrane, removal of subretinal gliosis, and drainage of subretinal fluid through an inferior retinotomy, endo-laser, and silicone oil injection were done under local anesthesia. Postoperatively, the retina stayed well attached and the MH was closed with type 1 configuration 2 . The silicone oil was subsequently removed with no cataract or glaucoma developed.…”
