Unethical pro-supervisor behavior and employees’ family satisfaction: The roles of workplace ostracism and work–home segmentation preference

Abstract: The present study proposes a moderated mediation model that examines how and when unethical pro-supervisor behavior is related to employees’ family satisfaction. The two-wave study design consisted of 207 full-time employees in China. The study results indicate that unethical pro-supervisor behavior is negatively related to family satisfaction, and that workplace ostracism mediates the influence of unethical pro-supervisor behavior on family satisfaction.
