“…In our earlier studies, we found that the mobile phase did not require acidic conditions to obtain high sensitivity for the analysis of pesticides and mycotoxins using LC-MS/MS separation and employing positive ionization [ 37 , 39 ]. The response of DON, aflatoxins and some pesticides (e.g., chlorpyrifos-ethyl/methyl), detected as a protonated molecule ion, slightly increased at alkaline pH in comparison with acidic conditions ( Figure 2 ).…”

“…Nowadays, there are many methods for detection AFM1 in milk and dairy products. Based on the reviewed literature, there are Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC) [14,15]with good performance in bioassay and chromatography, the Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with obvious specificity for AFM1 [16][17][18], the Fluorescence Spectrophotometry with easy use [19], low price and fast, and the most commonly used and stable combination of liquid chromatography and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry [8,10,20]. However, as a method for the rapid detection of mycotoxins, thin-layer chromatography (TLC) is simple and quick, but experimental repeatability and precision are not well; The enzyme immune assay has a strong specificity for AFTs, but the rate of false positives was high, so more accurate detection methods are also used to facilitate detection; Liquid chromatography is stable and sensitive, but it could not detect and distinguish homologues or isomers with similar structures at the same time.…”
